Two Portraits, Inc. Executives Promoted to New Roles

Portraits, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of two of its executives to new roles within the company.

Jennifer Gray, former director of communications, will now serve as vice president. A native of Auburn, Alabama, Gray graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in art history and French. She worked in several prominent museums and galleries in the Southeast before attending graduate school at New York University's Institute of Fine Arts. Jennifer joined the Portraits, Inc. staff in 2007.

Margaret Whiteside, who formerly served as associate liaison and gallery manager, is now marketing director. Whiteside, a Birmingham native, graduated cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South with a bachelor’s degree in art history and went on to receive an advanced certificate in American fine and decorative arts from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She worked at Sotheby’s and in the advancement department at The Altamont School, her alma mater, prior to joining Portraits, Inc. in 2018.

“Both Jennifer and Margaret possess a wealth of knowledge about portraiture and art in general, and we are very fortunate to have them on our team,” said Beverly McNeil, executive partner of Portraits, Inc. “I am thrilled to welcome these two women into their new roles, and we look forward to continuing to provide great service for our clients through their leadership.”
