Portraits, Inc. is proud to present a new exhibition, "Today's Portraits: Emerging Artists and Leading Masters," November 12th - 20th at New York's Salmagundi Club.  The exhibition will explore current trends in portraiture in a group exhibition and symposium.  A strong cohort representing the genre's emerging talents and leading practitioners will be showing works that both reinforce and dispel our collective notions of what a portrait should and can be.

The exhibition will feature leading masters Daniel E. Greene, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and John Howard Sanden along with works by emerging artists affiliated with Portraits, Inc.  An opening reception will be held Friday, November 14th from 6-8 pm.  The exhibition closes on November 20th with a roundtable discussion on portraiture and figurative painting with the editor of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine Peter Trippi, the dean of the New York Academy of Art Peter Drake, and accomplished painters Burton Silverman, Sharon Sprung, and Patricia Watwood.
