Portraits, Incorporated celebrates its 70th anniversary this year as New York's only premier portrait agency. The company was founded by New York art and antiques dealer Lois Shaw in a Manhattan townhouse in 1942.
To celebrate its 70-year history, Portraits, Inc. will host a four-day exhibition at Arader Galleries, beginning with an opening reception on Thursday, May 3, 2012. The exhibition, which features New York's finest portrait artists, will continue through May 6th. Arader Galleries is located at 1016 Madison Avenue, between 78th and 79th Streets.
