Through April 20, 2014, the prestigious Salmagundi Club will host its Annual Members' Exhibition showcasing Club members' finest works in all media -- paintings, sculptures, and works on paper.  This year's outstanding display of fine art will be installed throughout the Club's 1854 landmark building.  Works from over 140 of the Club's artist-members -- selected to represent a nationwide membership of more than 850 -- include both nationally-recognized artists as well as emerging talent.  Several Portraits, Inc. artists will have artwork in the exhibition.

The Salmagundi Club is located at 47 5th Avenue in Lower Manhattan.  The exhibit will open on Wednesday, March 26, and continue through Sunday, April 20.  The art can be viewed Monday through Friday, 1-6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.  Viewing hours will be extended through 10 p.m. on Friday, March 28th.  An opening reception for the artists participating will be held on Thursday, April 3, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Founded in 1871, the Salmagundi Club is one of the oldest art organizations in the United States.  Housed in an historic brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York, the Club offers programs including art classes, exhibitions, painting demonstrations, and art auctions throughout the year for members and the general public.
