What’s located at 82nd and Fifth in New York City? It’s the intersection of art and ideas, also known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. To celebrate this connection, the Met has invited 100 curators from across the Museum to share a work of art that changed the way they see the world.
Whether it’s Berlinghiero’s Madonna and Child, the living room from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Little House in Wayzata, Minnesota or the bronze statue of Eros sleeping, the works are as varied as the curators and personal to each.
To talk about their chosen work, each curator gets two minutes to make their episode that will be part of the year-long series.
New episodes are posted every Wednesday. Watch episodes here.
