Capture the Magic with Live Event Paintings

Once-in-a-lifetime events are just that. They happen only once and then turn into memories. But people are always trying to figure out ways to capture these special moments and preserve them in a unique way that truly does them justice.

Photographs are a good choice, and it’s always essential to have a good photographer to document individual moments. Yet however nice the picture may be, a photograph can’t always convey the actual sense of the occasion.

But these important events in your life can be captured in a stunning painting WHILE your event is happening.

Not only is the finished product a beautiful piece of art, having a painting created during your event is very unique and entertaining, especially for your guests. Watching a painting be created from start to finish is a wonderful experience you and your guests will never forget.

Most special events, especially weddings, require so much planning – music, food, flowers – but those things are gone when the night is over. With a live event painting, you’ll have an original work of art to cherish for generations.

What you should know about the process:

  • The artist will arrive at least an hour before the event to set up his easel and color palette.
  • The 30” x 40” painting will be created in the frame. Frame is included in the price of the painting and is chosen from a variety of styles provided by the artist.
  • The artist and client will discuss the main focus of the painting prior to the event (for example, the first dance between the bride and groom or a key note speaker).
  • The artist will need an area that is roughly 5’ x 8’ facing the main focus of the painting.
  • The artist’s assistant will photograph the event as it unfolds to ensure elements can be added in the studio if needed.
  • In most cases, the painting is completed at the event. Occasionally, it will be taken back to the studio to dry and then shipped to the client.
  • Added features include a video of the painting in progress and professional 8” x 10” photographs of the finished painting.
