With summer in full swing, it’s the perfect time to take the opportunity to do some things you really enjoy. For us, that always involves art. We love all kinds of art, and our New England Associate, Mary Parker, is excited about an upcoming exhibition.
The event coincides with the 10th Annual South Coast Artists Open Studio Tour. The tour takes place on two separate weekends, July 20–21 and August 17–18, and includes over 70 exhibiting artists. They all live, work and exhibit in four beautiful towns on the Rhode Island and Massachusetts South Coast: Tiverton, Little Compton, Westport and Dartmouth.
The self-guided tour is free, open to the public and requires no registration. There will be artists working in diverse mediums such as oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography, sculpture, basketry, fiber arts, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, jewelry, paper and mixed media.
Portraits, Inc. is a sponsor of the Open Studio Tour 2013, and will mount an exhibition both weekends at the studio of noted artist and landscape designer John McCormack.
